3D computer modeling and animation will be used to create projections for interactive performance and theatrical banners on the project's theme "Consilience." Participants are asked to bring laptops loaded with free trial versions of:
“Bryce” Daz 3D http://www.daz3d.com/i/software/bryce7?_m=d
“Poser” SmithMicro http://poser.smithmicro.com/poser.html
The Poser 8, 30 day free trial requires that you give a credit card number, but does not bill it if you cancel within 30 days: "You will not be charged during your 30 day FREE trial period. We will verify your credit card is valid and in good standing through a credit card authorization. If you do not cancel within 30 days of your sign up date, you will be charged for the amount of the product shown above, plus any taxes."
Participants skilled with other 3D animation packages that produce the AVI NTSC DV format are welcome to use them. Animations will be assembled with Adobe Premiere Pro.

Note: Changes in the schedule prevent implementing an originally proposed plan which was later enacted in NY:

"Kinetic performance traces left on canvas during directed activities in dance will be used as raw material for the exercise of the faculty of pareidolia by painters, a habit of constructive consciousness that makes meaning of ambiguous information. Strips of the canvas will be grommeted as banners and hung in the performance space with nearby painting materials for continuous modification by those who are so inspired until the day of final presentations when the banners may be used to define a performance space.
A visual narrative on pareidolia by the IMPACT Director of Visual Art titled “First Botanicals” will be found at http://www.youtube.com/v/wfx0eJQnNf0?fs=1&hl=en_US
An alternative banner method will be found at http://isalta.com/IMPACT/Visual_Art/Flats_and_Banners.html"
