ISALTA / Yahoo |
A new feature: In an effort to find secure tools which are free from the ever-so living traditions of spam and pornography, a Yahoo group has been created with the name isaltany: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/isaltany There are commercial advertisements, but the group is moderated, meaning that members have to sign up, sign in and have messages approved. These are responses to regrettable facts of life online, but if inappropriate material surfaces again the software search will continue. Using the Yahoo isaltany group: Users are obliged to register and sign in with their email address. Once you are on the ISALTA NY group you can view the major topics / threads by selecting (Group by Topic), and by clicking on a topic you will find all replies to that topic listed beneath it.. The other choice (List as Individual Messages) does not distinguish sub-categories. All new topic messages and replies to messages will be emailed to everyone who has chosen to receive them by specifying that in their Membership profile. You can join other groups that interest you and modify different terms of your membership for each. Starting off: Two topics / threads have been started: "Welcome to ISALTA NY: Introductions." Please reply to this topic with a personal introduction to the group so people will have an idea who is participating. "Phenomenology Online Resources." I am currently trying to identify useful online resources and references to methodological phenomenology for research, and make a preliminary report in this message. Any constructive references, comments, leads, dialogue or bibliography would be appreciated. Your group: When you are in (Group by Topic) mode, you will find a "start Topic" link at the upper right of the screen. This is your group, so please express your interests by developing your own topics. There may not be much action at first, but we may expect participation to grow with time. Try it now: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/isaltany
