Note:

Born in Beijing, 1919; died in USA, 2003. He first studied art at the Art Institute of Nanjing and later under the tutelage of the late master, Qi Bai-Shih. He held his first art exhibition in Hong Kong in 1952. He held over 20 one-man art exhibitions at leading art museums in USA, Europe and Asia. He was a Singapore permanent resident from 1992. From 1982 to 1983, he was a part-time lecturer in Extramural Studies with the National University of Singapore.
