I am a former Ph.D. student of Professor Ecker who studied with him at New York University in the early 1990s. I am from Antigua, in the West Indies. My work on Jumbie Aesthetic is presently on display at the Cambridge Multicultural Arts Center, and my essay on the subject is published in the Spring 2007 "CLR James Journal: A Review of Caribbean Ideas" |
